Practice Training Contracts

Each Practice Trainee will be assigned to a Partner in the Firm who is qualified to be a Supervising Solicitor under rule 5 of the Legal Profession (Practice Training Period) Rules 2009. 

The Practice Trainee will receive training to develop their skills and knowledge in not less than two of the following Areas of Practice:

-           Civil and Commercial Dispute Resolution

-           Criminal Litigation

-           Corporate and Banking

-           Real Estate

-           Wills and Probate

The Practice Trainee will attend meetings with clients; learn client care and case management; prepare legal documents; conduct legal research; attend court hearings; and be exposed to various other aspects of legal practice.  He/she will also have the opportunity to attend in-house seminars and workshops.

Every Practice Trainee will receive an honorarium of S$2,000/- per month when undergoing the training contract with the firm and S$500/- per month when undertaking Part B of the Bar Examination.

We will reimburse our Practice Trainees fees incurred for Part B of the Bar Examination and court filing fees for admission papers upon being employed with the Firm.
